• Hello everybody! What’s up??? The band and I were all just looking at some of the dvd footage and I just wanna say… we are really dumb. We were all cracking up watching some of the b-roll stuff and then John looked up and said, “Do you guys even think other people are going to think this is funny? I mean, maybe it’s only funny to us.” After a small pause, we all decided that no, most people wont laugh the way we will, but yea, we’re still going to put it out. Hoohoo, boy. The joke is definitely on us. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I’m excited for it, even though it really shows what dorks we are on the side. Hmmm… what else is new… oh YEA! Three days ago, evanescence adopted its newest member. He’s wacky, a wild partier, and not very coordinated but we’re working on it. He’s my VERY OWN, BRAND NEW, CUTE AS A BUTTON NEW LITTLE BABY KITTEN, ZERO! I will post a picture as soon as I can find a scanner to borrow. He’s been sleeping with me on the bus and running around the venue during the day and gosh darnit, I LOVE HIM!!! I went to the pet store, promising the band that I would return with a mascot for the band… which I said would be a hamster. Well, hamsters are cool but this kitten is the sweetest, coolest, goofyist cat ever and it would’ve broken my heart to leave him in that cage! I’ve even taken him to a couple of meet and greets. haha! Anyway, take care everybody! I’m really having tons of fun on this tour! It’s almost done, and we’re all ready to write again, but I have to say I almost don’t want it to be over just yet. Okay, I love you guys! Keep it real!

THE COLD ISSUE Posted around January 20, 2004
• Hey guys. Sorry its been so long. Everything’s going great in Japan… actually I dont speak japanese and i have no idea whats going on… heehee anyway, in an interview recently I spoke out of turn about the status of Cold. I just wanted to say that really sucked of me. I didnt realize that Cold hadnt made any statements about the future of their band and we dont really know anyway. Cold’s fans hate me now. My bad. If youre a cold fan, I left an official apology at the Cold website. sometimes you forget you have a microphone in your hand. so how are you guys, anyway! We’ll be back home in the states to play a few last shows and show off our new guitar player before we go hardcore into writing, so hopefully I’ll see some of you soon. We miss you guys, the sun, and snacks that arent fish-flavored.
